KAT Certification Bodies
The independent certification bodies must be DIN EN ISO/IEC 17065 accredited to KAT standards. With this accreditation, an application to KAT is possible under the following conditions:

Proof of experience in auditing in the food industry and primary production

Specialized training/qualification of auditors in the appropriate scopes
KAT-approved auditors are trained annually by KAT, and the training content is examined in writing.
